Nathasha is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey with ten years experience as working in the field of Mental Health.
Nathasha graduated from the College of Saint Elizabeth with a Bachelors in Psychology. She also attended New Jersey City University and graduated with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling.
Her earliest years consisted of working at a specialized school for children diagnosed with Autism.
In addition, Nathasha also has experience with providing in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis services to youth. Moving forward, she went on to provide individual and family therapy services at various mental health agencies in the state of New Jersey.
Nathasha's role at the agencies were based on providing therapeutic services that addressed emotional and behavioral challenges in children and teenagers. Nathasha has also provided individual and family counseling services to youth and families exposed to trauma and also involved with the Department of Child Protection and Permanency. In addition, these services consisted of assisting family members with developing effective communication skills in order to resolve conflicts.
Nathasha has also provided caregiver/parent support services to guide parents with having a better understanding of how trauma impacts their children's lives and behaviors.
